The limitation is scope and price. Streak is Gmail-only — no Outlook support. Pro at $49/user/month is more expensive than Freshsales Pro at $39/user/month for significantly less CRM depth. There is no built-in telephony at any tier (unlike Freshsales). Automation capabilities are limited compared to Freshsales’ workflow engine. And there is no standalone mobile app — you use Gmail’s mobile app, limiting CRM functionality on the go.

Who Should Stay with Freshsales
Freshsales is a strong CRM in the right context, and switching has real costs — migration time, workflow recreation, retraining, and potentially losing the built-in communication stack your team has come to rely on. You should probably stick with Freshsales if:
- Your team actively uses the built-in phone and email. This is Freshsales’ primary differentiator. If your reps make regular calls from the CRM, log emails from within Freshsales, and use the built-in chat — the alternatives that replace this with integrations will create operational friction.
- You are on the Freshworks platform. If you also use Freshdesk for customer support or Freshservice for IT, the deep native integration between these products is a genuine advantage. A single PartnerStack affiliate account, shared contact history, and seamless ticket-to-deal workflows do not exist with most alternatives.
- You are still on Growth ($9/user/month) and plan to stay there. If your pipeline management needs are simple and you do not need sequences, multiple pipelines, or advanced reporting, Growth remains one of the best-value CRM tiers available.
Consider switching if: you have upgraded to Pro ($39/user/month) and find the reporting depth, AI accuracy, or integration options underwhelming relative to what HubSpot Professional, Zoho CRM Enterprise, or Salesforce Pro Suite offer at comparable or nearby price points.
